Welcome to Episode 1990 in which host Victoria Cece interviews Cosimo Selvi this week on The Next Generation. He talks about his life in Chianti, his pursuit of studying enology, and how he is helping his family’s winery. Victoria and Cosimo also shared their thoughts on the importance of grape quality in creating great wines. More about today’s guest Cosimo was born in Florece in 1996 and raised in a small village named Castellina in Chianti nearby Siena. After High school he decided to study oenology and viticulture in Florence. He and his family own a small winery of 6 hectars and produce around twenty thousand bottle of Chianti Classico per year. He has always been actively involved in the winery's life and slowly understood that winemaking was the right path to follow. He is deeply convinced that great wine can only be produced starting from great grapes.
