S2 Ep 7 | Jim Roberts MBE, Paralympian

This week we're joined by former Team GB Wheelchair Rugby Captain and Gold Medalist Paralympian - Jim Roberts MBE. After catching Meningitis at University he spent two and a half years in hospital and it was a nurse who introduced him to Wheelchair Rugby. He has since travelled the world competing, which took him to the Paralympic Games in Tokyo. We talk about growing up in the countryside, his Olympic journey and his relationship with the great outdoors now.

Om Podcasten

Join best mates Holly and Dan every Tuesday as they chat to people rooted in the Great British countryside, from your favourite rural influencers, to the people behind the most popular countryside events. This isn’t a farming podcast. But having met in Young Farmers, Holly and Dan’s farming roots have shaped who they are today, and they’re on a mission to meet inspiring people that make our countryside such an exciting place to live. Expect personal anecdotes, inspiring stories and plenty of embarrassing fan-girl moments, as they go up and down the country to champion the people of the countryside.
