Episode 53: What I wanted to be when I grew up
This is officially my first episode of season two of It’s the Journey and for 2022! I’ve been quiet lately. I do that as I’m preparing for big projects or going through change. I introvert. I’m not ready to start making episodes regularly, I just wanted to give an update on some things and share some clarity I have discovered. 7-27-9 Ultimately what I was looking for was freedom. I saw a glimpse of that in high school while working at Waldbart Tree Nurusry in Florissant. I saw the boss come and go. I saw a glimpse of the life he had. I saw that he had no boss other than to do what was needed to make the business succeed and that he had an amazing team, including his own family to help with that. In contrast, I saw many of my mom’s friends and co-workers losing jobs they had had all their careers as the defense industry was in a pull back. Personally I always hated being told what to do or be just…because. I took some time in this episode to dive into that in a way that will hopefully be helpful for you and your dreams.
