Scott Carpenter is one of the greatest exploring pioneers of the twentieth century. He began his career as a Navy Test Pilot, then he was picked to be one of the NASA Original Seven Mercury Astronauts. He then went on to do pioneering ocean research with Jacques Cousteau and SEALAB. The Rolex SEA-DWELLER was developed for SEALAB and Scott Carpenter was the First Sea Dweller in the world.
