He is a Lebanese-American actor celebrated for his groundbreaking contributions to the representation of gay Arabs in the film industry. He gained critical acclaim for his portrayal of Tarek in the 2007 drama "The Visitor" and his career took a historic turn with his role in Marvel's "Eternals" (2021), where he played Phastos' husband, marking the first openly gay couple and parents in the Marvel Universe.
