  Ashley Yong ditched her prom to help the homeless. She used the money she had saved for her prom to make 20 care packages which she distributed to homeless people in her home town of Chicago. In our conversation we talk about what made her decide to give up the biggest night of her life so far, she’s 17, and instead do something that most of only think about.
