"Breathin There" by Mark Chase, Original Worship Series FOUR

This Fall, we are doing a special 5-part bonus series of the "Josiah Venture Stories" podcast featuring some original worship songs by Josiah Venture missionaries. These songs are connected to the theme we studied during our annual Spring Conference this past May. The theme was "Burden to Blessing: A Journey Through the Psalms." We learned about five soul paths highlighted in the book of Psalms: Lament, Sovereignty, Repentance, Wisdom, and Praise. During this series, each songwriter interviewed will share their musical background and songwriting process. Then at the end of the episode, you will hear their original song. This bonus episode features Mark Chase, the author of the original song inspired by the soul path “Wisdom” entitled “Breathin' There.” Mark and his wife Amy have served with Josiah Venture in Bratislava, Slovakia, since 2012. They have served with Fusion both on a national level and in their local church. Additionally, they lead Slovakia's summer intern program and are a part of other ministries that reach university students. They have four adult children, three grandchildren, and one on the way.
