Top NY FBI Official "Digs In" Against Trump Administration's Treatment of FBI Agents

The Head to the FBI's New York field office is resisting efforts by Trump's Department of Justice officials to set up possible wrongful firings of FBI agents who investigated January 6 cases. As The New York Times reported, "Top FBI Agent in NY Vows to 'Dig In' After Removals at Agency." James Dennehy, the top NY FBI official and a former Marine, says they are "in a battle of their own" reminiscent of his days as a Marine when he "dug a small foxhole" and "hunkered down for safety." Denny added, "It sucked, but it worked." This is another important point of light amidst the Trump-induced darkness.
