Will Trump Finally Be Sentenced On His 34 New York Felony Convictions?
Ever since a New York jury found Donald Trump guilty of 34 felony crimes involving falsifying business records to cheat in the 2016 presidential election, we've been waiting for the case to proceed to sentencing. We were expecting a ruling from the presiding judge, Juan Merchan, on November 12th on Trump's motion to dismiss based on the Supreme Court's presidential immunity ruling. But Judge Merchan just pushed the deadline from November 12th to November 19th, with Trump's sentencing date still being set for November 26th.
