She is not sure what to think of Gat as he hasn't written to her since she last saw him. Clairmont has been remodeled, and two of the goldens have died. Grand dad calls Cady Mirren, and when corrected, he says he knows she's not Mirren. Cady still struggles to remember why she went to the beach alone the night of the accident, and why she had no outer garments or towels with her on the beach that night.
