Conversations with KISI-Courtney Payne-Taylor

As part of our "Conversations with KISI" series, we had the opportunity to speak with Courtney Payne-Taylor, Founder of Girls Riders Organization and Operations Director of the Boys & Girls Club of Bloomington. Courtney, a 2006 Kelley alumna, spoke about her journey starting GRO, a non-profit that partners with local female skaters to teach girls skateboarding. Along with its many initiatives, it also helps girls imbibe crucial life skills such as confidence, resilience, and strength of character. She has GRO crews across 11 states and now helps existing children's organizations establish GRO programs.
