At Beckhoff, they call the approach with AI-supported engineering. The result is: TwinCAT Chat. With TwinCAT Chat, the so-called Large Language Models, such as ChatGPT from OpenAI, can be conveniently used for the development of a TwinCAT project. This increases productivity in control programming. But: Beckhoff does not only rely on OpenAI. Other OS LLMs are also used.
