SE7EN (7th Anniversary Special)

What better way to celebrate our seventh year of podcast excellence than to discuss David Fincher’s feel-good hit of 1995, SE7EN!! I can’t think of one, and it’s not for a lack of trying. Along the way, we explore the film’s ties to grime-core classics like SAW, consider stacking hot babies, debate if John Doe will get his security deposit money back, weigh just how bad of a cop Mills is, and wax rhapsodic at just how good David Fincher really is at making movies!! All this, plus we play a filthy and difficult edition of Choose Your Own Deathventure, and we yearn for the days when R. Lee Ermey would just yell at us for 45 minutes straight!! If there's an eighth deadly sin, it's missing this special anniversary... special. I've been writing these for nearly three-quarters of a decade now; they can't all be gold.

Om Podcasten

In each episode, Patrick Hamilton and Gena Radcliffe unpack all the gory details of horror cinema's least discussed topic: the characters. From Friday the 13th to the Evil Dead franchise and beyond, our mission is to detail each hack, slash, and decapitation in the hopes that a victim's untimely end is just the beginning of the jokes we can make about them.
