Vanessa is the author of the Rhode Island-set bestselling thrillers Little Voices and For the Best and the creator of the Audible Original co-authored bestselling series Young Rich Widows, which was an International Thriller Writers Best Audiobook nominee, with a sequel, Desperate Deadly Widows, forthcoming in April. Her latest book, Blood Sisters, featuring a Cherokee archeologist, launches on Halloween 2023. She was a weekly columnist for the Providence Journal about life during the pandemic and she hosts an Instagram Live show where she chats with authors the night before their book launch.
