Ep82: Tania and Daniel - Gastroschisis Diagnosis, Spontaneous Labour, NICU Journey

In Episode 82 of Kiwi Birth Tales I speak to Tania about the pregnancy and birth of her son Daniel. Daniel was diagnosed with Gastroschisis at the 12 week scan and Tania takes us through how they processed that information as well as how the rest of her pregnancy was managed. A planned induction was book however Tania went into spontaneous labour and Daniel was born in Gisbourne Hospital not long after. Tania takes us through what it was like when Daniel was born, dealing with his diagnosis earthside and their stay in the NICU as well as how Daniel is doing now.
