The Grammys. An award presented by the Recording Academy to recognize "Outstanding Achievement in the music industry" of the United States. For K-pop fans who may believe their bias is an immaculate jesus, the award can act as a point for artistic merit or recognition. In a 2021 interview with the Korea Herald, Suga remarked that he hopes the group will win a Grammy before the end of their career. It can be argued that BTS has made music award shows relevant again following an ongoing trend of declining ratings and interest in music awards. But with the recent misses for awarding BTS a Grammy - what signs does this signal for k-pop fans?
