As a young man Jon Zazula found himself working on Wall Street before financial troubles landed him in jail. Upon his release he stumbled into the music business and came across a demo tape by the unsigned band Metallica. Seeing their potential, he established the legendary Megaforce Records to distribute their classic debut Kill 'Em All. The rise of Megaforce Records made Jonny Z an insider and player in the 80's heavy metal scene.
