4. Make it Happen by Floyd Greco
Several months ago, I found a stack of my grandfather’s notes and speeches my dad gave me. My grandfather, Floyd Greco, worked his way up from being an hourly worker to a senior executive at ALCOA and he was extremely passionate about leadership, encouraging everyone to “Make it Happen” Although he passed away in 1996, his legacy continues among his kids and grandkids with how he motivated others. This speech, read by my dad, Chris Greco, is one he wrote based on his “Make it Happen” methodology. When I thought about adding it to the show, my dad said it would have been a dream come true to hear his work shared with the world.
