1,000,000+ Downloads of the LJS Podcast!

Special announcement! The Learn Jazz Standards Podcast has passed 1,000,000 total downloads over the past 3 years with 4 new episodes a month. It's a big mile marker, so here's a short episode to share some gratitude to the most important people who make this show a success: my listeners.
Listen to the episode

This is a short, quick episode to announce an exciting mile marker for the Learn Jazz Standards Podcast.
After three years of the podcast, with four new episodes coming out each month, we have hit 1,000,000 total downloads!
If you don't mind me geeking out for a second, total downloads aren't really the most important metric for podcasting. More important is the downloads per episode after a given period of time.
The good news there is the Learn Jazz Jazz Standards podcast is in the top 8-7% of all podcasts in this metric, according to Lybsyn, the largest podcast host. That's a number to be proud of!
But the 1,000,000 total downloads is important to me because it means, I've helped people become better jazz musicians 1,000,000 times.
But the people to really thank are you, the listeners. Whether you've listened to every episode or only a few.
Whether you've left a rating and review on iTunes, or shared an episode with a friend: you are the ones who keep this podcast going.
Thanks for being a part of the community!
