HT1183 - Elon and Hydroquinone

In my dark room days, where when mixing my own developer chemistry one of the most important strategies was always the balance between the developing agent Elon and its partner hydroquinone. The deepness of the blacks were controlled with hydroquinone, the subtlety of the midtones came from the Elon. Strangely enough, this strategy still applies in my digital work.
