我叫迈克，我的家在纽约。过年的时候，我在纽约看过中国人表演舞狮舞龙。中国新年的风俗(fēngsú)真有意思。今年假期小海请我来北京过年，我高兴得不得了。今天下午我从纽约来到北京，我是坐飞机来的。从纽约到北京坐飞机要13个小时。北京的气温没有纽约高，可是不很冷。我到飞机场的时候，小海正等我呢。我们一起去了他的家。晚上我在他家吃了年夜饭。我最喜欢吃的菜是鱼、饺子和年糕。这是我第一次吃年糕。吃完年夜饭后，我们一起看春晚。小海的爸爸妈妈给我准备了新年礼物，他们还给我了一个红包，红包里面是压岁钱。我也把妈妈给他们准备的新年礼物拿来了，我们都感到很快乐。小海说大年初一要带我一起去他的爷爷奶奶家拜年。我感到非常激动(jīdòng)。
