Theo Delaney’s guest is a bona fide legend of sports broadcasting Gary Newbon who has presented thousands of TV shows and worked for many years as an influential executive at ITV and Sky Sports. Renowned as an interviewer, the title of his recent memoir ‘Newbon - Bloody Hell’ is a reference to the famous quote he got from Alex Ferguson in the players tunnel in Barcelona after his Manchester United team had won the Champions League in dramatic style.
