198: Poltergeist: The Creepy Family Haunting Behind the Cursed Horror Movie

A strange psychokinetic energy following a 12-year-old boy wreaked havoc on the Herrmann family household. The Seaford Poltergeist "Popper" caused bottle caps to pop and furniture to crash. Soon, Duke University parapsychologists intervened. Even after a thorough investigation, these strange events were never truly explained, and many argue over whether it was real paranormal energy or outright fraud. The story went on to inspire the movie Poltergeist (1982), which carried a curse of its own.
