As concerns grew over safety precautions throughout Utah’s caves in the mid-2000s, John Edward Jones and his brother Josh went spelunking in the farthest reaches of Nutty Putty Cave. It was a cave known for its slimy walls and its tiny passages. Although the brothers looked for a dose of nostalgia and a good time deep within the cave, only one of the brothers would return to the surface.
