How Gene Editing Can Threaten Your Health And Safety

In this episode Jeffrey speaks to an audience at the Real Truth About Health conference. He discusses concerns about gene editing in the biotech industry, using the example of gene-edited cows in Brazil. These cows were engineered to be hornless but ended up containing antibiotic-resistant genes due to the presence of bacterial DNA. This raises the risk of untreatable infections and highlights the potential for creating new diseases through gene editing. Jeffrey also mentions the lack of regulatory oversight for certain genetically engineered mushrooms using CRISPR technology and emphasizes the need for caution and thorough evaluation of the risks associated with gene editing.
