Elianna is a Mixed Nigerian-Japanese rapper based in Tokyo. She was born in Tokyo, but spent 7 years in Nigeria where she learned both Yoruba and English. In this episode, she speaks about what it's like being mixed Japanese of African descent living in Tokyo, how it was going to school, fashion in Japan, discrimination from police while being Black in Japan, as well as how Blasians in Tokyo are "trendy" now, but a lot of Blasians try to be overly Black American.
