Working on the sailing dream one bulkhead at a time

This week’s episode is part cautionary tale and part inspiring story about truly working hard to make the sailing dream happen and not giving up. I’m sure there are many people out there who are planning to buy a boat that requires just a little work but that’s it… and that is what my guest, David Shih thought as well. He planned to be away from his family for maybe 4-6 weeks doing a little bit of repair work on his catamaran’s bulkheads before the family could join him. However, 6 weeks turned into 6 months and then almost another 6 months… This is quite the entry into sailing life and David tells how it all went down.
