Celtics POSTCAST- Celtics Drop 2nd in a Row with Home Loss to 76ers
The Celtics lost their 2nd straight game with a 118-114 setback to the Philadelphia 76ers at TD Garden on Christmas Night. Boston has lost 2 in a row for the 1st time this season and for the 1st time since last April in the Regular Season. Jayson Tatum scored a team-high 32 and had 15 rebounds. Jaylen Brown scored 21 of his 23 in the 2nd Half. Derrick White hit 5 3's and scored 21. Tyrese Maxey led the 76ers with 33 in the win. The 76ers have won 8 of their last 11 games. ----- No KP in 2nd Half- Kristaps Porzingis did not return after halftime. He scored 9 points in 13 minutes. Porzingis tweaked his left ankle in the 1st Quarter. He was questionable to return and did not in the 2nd Half. ----- Rough Night For Payton: Payton Pritchard scored 4 points in the loss for the Celtics. Pritchard went 1-for-9 from the field overall and 0-for-8 from behind the 3-Point Arc. It's the 3rd time this season where Pritchard did not hit a 3-Pointer. -----
