CELTICS POSTCAST: Game to the Knicks...Tough 1 to Swallow for Celtics
The Celtics (61-21) lost Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semi-Final series with a 108-105 overtime loss to the New York Knicks Monday night at TD Garden. The Celtics led by 20 in the 3rd Quarter but were outscored 25-16 by the Knicks on the 4th. Boston shot 3-for-18 on 3's in the 4th Quarter and Overtime. Boston had a chance to tie the game up in the final seconds of overtime, but Mikal Bridges came up with a steal as he stole the ball away from Jaylen Brown. ----- Scoring Leaders: Jalen Brunson and OG Anunoby both scored 29 in the win for the Knicks. The Knicks had 5 players in Double-Figures. Jayson Tatum and Jayley Brown both had 23 in the loss. Derrick White hit 5 3's and scored 19. Brown was 1-for-10 on 3s. Tatum had a Double-Double with 16 Rebounds. -----
