Did the New York Knick just shut the door on a Donovan Mitchell trade? No

Shockwaves went through the NBA trade world last night when the New York Knicks signed RJ Barrett to an extension seemingly ending the trade quest for Donovan Mitchell. No so fast. David Locke, radio voice of the Utah Jazz and Jazz NBA Insider breaks down how the Knicks move while making a trade with RJ Barrett more complicated actually didn't shut down a deal with the New York Knicks at all. In fact, Locke argues this move might have put more pressure on the Knicks to get a deal done then there was before signing RJ Barrett.
