A day barely passes without some news leaking about the Los Angeles Lakers, the Brooklyn Nets, and some trade that will affect Russell Westbrook, Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant, LeBron James, Anthony Davis... even folks like Joe Harris, Seth Curry, and Talen Horton-Tucker, or teams like the San Antonio Spurs, Phoenix Suns, Indiana Pacers or Charlotte Hornets. So much of the NBA landscape is essentially stuck in neutral as the Nets sort out their conflict with the disgruntled Durant, which could create a butterfly effect of massive proportions.
