Careers in Fashion: Creativity and Neurodiversity

Inclusive working environments are a key focus for businesses today. Showing diversity in their workforce helps to create authentic messaging and inclusive company priorities. Yet, when it comes to neurodiversity, many employers remain unsure on accessibility, hiring strategies and effective workplace design to embrace atypical neurological processing. We hear from Carys Kennedy, Senior Disability Adviser from UAL’s Academic Development Services and James Bosley, Senior Graphist and Textile Designer, with over a decade of luxury industry experience from Louis Vuitton, Alexandra McQueen and Dior Homme. This podcast brings together knowledge from experts to discuss how the creative industry is developing diverse working environment changes. • Visit LCF Graduate Futures to find out what we do: www.arts.ac.uk/fashion/lcf-student-careers • Sign up to LCF MY_Jobs: www.lcf-my-jobs.arts.ac.uk/signin • Email graduate.futures@fashion.arts.ac.uk for a full audio transcript.
