If you want to grow spiritually, and be a mature believer, then you have to have discernment. What does that mean? You must have the perspective of God. And that does not happen naturally. It is the outcome of the ministry of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer, if we're going to be pleasing to God, if we're going to demonstrate wisdom, and do the things that are related to the purposes of God, we need to have discernment, we need to have God's perspective.
