Special: A cosy Christmas in Sweden

Christmas in Sweden is most widely considered a time to be cosy with family and friends, and enjoy a good bit of food and drink. But how does Christmas in Sweden compare to other countries, and what should incoming international students expect from their first Swedish holiday season? In this episode, host Daniel Gunnarsson (LU International Office) speaks to colleagues Erik Kvist and Louise Corrigan-Konow, and together they share everything there is to know about Christmas in Sweden. Together they touch on holiday traditions from gift giving to Christmas cartoons, festive dishes and beverages from the controversial 'Jansson's frestelse' to the ubiquitous Julmust, and of course, their tips for international students on learning about and enjoying the holiday season in Sweden, whether you celebrate Christmas or not.
