MFP 106: Putting in the Time with Paul Jackman from Jackman Works

We’ve got an oversized episode for you today, or should I say, Jackman sized. Paul Jackman has built a strong YouTube and online following in the maker space in an unconventional way. He was educated in the skilled trades, but found his passion in a more artistic approach to building. And the results are Paul building things like a 16 times scale folding knife and a life size nutcraker both made out of pallet wood he breaks down and processes. Today Paul talks about the journey to where he is now and how putting in the time in different aspects of his business has helped set him apart. Paul is not only one of the most sought after “male models” on the internet, but he’s an impressive influencer in the maker community as well. With 260k+ Subscribers on youtube and a growing instagram following of 60k+ and is also an avid user of the ever mystifying Reddit. Paul brings a lot of personality and interesting approaches to typical menial tasks. This show is one of my favorites.
