S1 Ep30: Merger with Manc and a Yank Podcast (Plus Rest of Season Preview)
This episode is a big one, not only because Manchester City will be back on the pitch after three months off, but because Maine Road Ramble and Manc and a Yank Podcast are permanently joining forces! This merger has been in the works behind the scenes for quite some time now and we are officially launching as a collective with this episode. There were some technical difficulties within the first 8 minutes of recording. We do apologize very much for that but they are brief and do not hinder the listening experience much so we encourage you to stick with us throughout. Anyway, we have decided to retain the name Maine Road Ramble going forward, in large part because Manc and a Yank can't be transitioned into a name that fits our combined demographic. Any listeners of the previous iteration of MRR will not need to look elsewhere to find our shows, they will be in the same feed as you're used to. For all the Manc and a Yank fans who sought out this episode, you'll have to subscribe to the MRR channel to continue getting all the knowledge you're used to. This episode is the first time all five of us (Kevin Nelson, Ger Deegan, Andrew Dettmen, Jon Ashley, and Joe Ricci) have all published a recording together so have a listen to hear the dynamic and get an idea for our plans moving forward!
