Nate Morton - Making It as the Drummer for NBC's "The Voice"

Nate Morton is the drummer for the House Band on NBC's TV show “The Voice”. He has toured with artists Natalie Cole, Chaka Kahn, Paul Stanley, Poe, the America Idol Band, Vanessa Carlton and Miley Cyrus.

His TV appearances include playing in the house band for Mark Burnett's Rock Star: INXS, Rock Star: Supernova, the Bonnie Hunt Show, MTV's Rock The Cradle and the Grammy Awards Show with Madonna.

Morton is endorsed by Pearl Drums, RhythmTech, Zildjian drumsticks and cymbals, Roland electronics and V-Drums and Remo drumheads. He is a graduate of the renowned Berklee College of Music, cites Animal from The Muppets as his primary influence and thanks his parents and his first drum instructor Grant Menfee for their early support of his musical aspirations.

Terry has worked with an array of artists including Melissa Manchester, Billy Preston, The Crusaders, Little Richard, Wilson Phillips, Joan Baez, Joe Walsh, Keb’ Mo’, and Eartha Kitt, to name just a few. Terry has produced artists including Tony Bennett, Dick Van Dyke, Dave Grusin with Alan Bergman, and Melissa Manchester’s 20th album “You Gotta Love The Life” with special guests artists Stevie Wonder, Joe Sample, Dave Koz, Dionne Warwick and Al Jarreau.
