#KiniNews: Flag error - Akmal calls for action on T’ganu Umno Youth; Takiyuddin questions Zara probe
[KiniNews] Umno Youth chief Dr Akmal Saleh has urged authorities to investigate and prosecute the Terengganu Umno Youth member responsible for a poster bearing incorrect flag stripes on the Jalur Gemilang.
“There are two stripes missing there, and I want to say I've already verified that the mistake indeed came from the person who made the poster, and we take responsibility," Akmal added.
He said that though the error came from his own wing member, he would not back down.
Meanwhile, in a separate story, the opposition today demanded that the police explain why they did not order a post-mortem for the body of Form One student Zara Qairina Mahathir following her mysterious death in Sabah last month.
Its chief whip, Takiyuddin Hassan (PN-Kota Bharu), said such an order should have been a standard procedure whenever there is a sudden death case.
