Surviving Syria / Lama Sawas was a student of Molecular Biology and Genetics when the conflict and protests against an oppressive government broke out over ten years ago in her home country. In today's episode she talks about her experience growing up surrounded by fear and uncertainty, the realities of living in a war zone and how she is overcoming the trauma. An absolute must-listen.
