Episode 62 - Don't Believe Everything You Read Online (especially about morning routines)

Today we talk about morning routines: a little bit about our own, but mostly about how much BS people say when in articles about theirs. (Spoiler alert: you still deserve to be a writer, even if you're not a morning person!) This brings us on to how to take care of yourself (hint: not just bubble baths), and what that can give you in terms of motivation. And then we talk a bit about the tools we've been using for research and writing, since we are both working on new projects. (Another spoiler: Meghan gives a short masterclass in using notecards.) Also we discussed how funny it is when people try to convince you that your book isn't bad (when they haven't read it), and why we love citing other people's ideas.   As always, we'd love for you to take a minute to rate and review using your podcast app, as this helps other listeners find the show. Om Podcasten

For writers and creatives with day jobs they enjoy. Marginally is about supporting and encouraging people for whom writing – and all forms of creative pursuit – is part of a full life, not the only life. We’re not trying to have it all, but we do have a lot to do. We have day jobs, caring responsibilities, and other life commitments that are important to us. Maybe we don’t aspire to write full time. Maybe we do. Maybe we are on a longer journey to that destination, and we’d like you to join us.
