Bill Barkeley's Amazing Life and Journey
Prepare to be inspired, Bill Barkeley's story is both enlightening and moving. Bill has an enormous capacity to encourage anyone. Regardless of the challenges one faces, and we all face challenges, Bill uses his life journey to motivate others, teaching everyone about living a life that is not just significant and meaningful but a life that can also impact others in a positive way. He started to lose his hearing around the age of five and he learned to make his way in the world using adaptive strategies and with the aid of technology. Then around the age of 26, after getting married and becoming a father, he learned that he was losing his eyesight as well. He is now legally blind, but those challenges haven't stopped him from some amazing endeavours such as: Completing the Boston Marathon twice. Going on a 500 mile hike through Spain. Or from visiting Peru's Machu Picchu. He even climbed to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro. Bill is a both a keynote and inspirational speaker who travels extensively.
