18. Networking For Introverts - Everything You Need To Know With Ivan Misner

Dr Ivan Misner is the founder and Chief Visionary Officer of BNI, the world’s largest business networking organization.  Founded in 1985 BNI now has over 10,000 chapters throughout the world.  Last year alone, it generated more than $16.2 billion dollars’ worth of business for its members.   This was an amazing opportunity for me to go deep on the subject of networking! The idea often makes introverts shudder, but as great listeners and communicators we have exactly the right skills to create successful connections. The key is finding the right network and being prepared to take time to build relationships. Listen out as Ivan explains the importance of the VCP process – visibility, credibility and profitability. As the public face of an international business Ivan was also very helpful sharing his strategies around how to decompress after speaking and being interviewed, how to work a room and how to give an effective networking presentation. And find out how he learned he was an introvert – it’s a great story!   Marketing for Introverts is created and hosted by Jenny Procter of Bondfield Marketing, find out more here https://bondfieldmarketing.co.uk/marketing-for-introverts/   Resources Ivan blogs at ivanmisner.com and you can find out about BNI in the UK at www.bni.co.uk   If you are one of the 68% of introverted business owners who hate putting themselves out there you can sign up for my free guide.
