Our guest today has been on a long crusade to raise awareness about how our digital tools are continuing and exacerbating the problems we already have around poverty and inequality. Virginia Eubanks is an Associate Professor of Political Science at the University at Albany, SUNY. She is the author of the book “Automating Inequality: How High-Tech Tools Profile, Police, and Punish the Poor”.
