He is also a faculty affiliate of Texas A&M’s Energy Institute, where he teaches graduate courses in project & portfolio management and sits on the Board of Directors of the International Project Management Association, USA.  He has enjoyed opportunities to speak on project management in several countries on multiple continents and published his first (and contributed to a second) book during 2020. Dr. Pace’s academic pursuits come after 15+ years of experience in various industries building project management offices and PM functions, managing strategic projects, and fixing broken processes. His portfolio includes everything from software deployments and product launches to market research to a Floyd Mayweather, Jr. boxing event. In his free time, Michael spends time with his wife and 2 daughters, enjoys video games & books, and volunteers with the Girl Scouts of America.
