Thanks and Gig 'em! 📺&👂 (https://u.tamu.edu/zwkHRDp1)   Bill is the president of Petrophysical Solutions, an oil and gas exploration knowledge products company based out of Houston, Texas. A petrophysicist with over 40 years of comprehensive and diverse petrophysical and geological experience, he has worked extensively with all aspects of log interpretation, the integration of log data with geological and engineering data, operations, and well-site geology. He has traveled extensively internationally, lived in a few different places, experienced the peaks and troughs of the market, and learned to adapt the business to changing dynamics in oil and gas. About 10 years ago he began pivoting the company away from a traditional consulting model to offer high-quality databases of well log and production information from public data sources over the past 24 years. Primary sources of revenue are major operators in the Gulf of Mexico.  The company supports many local charities, including WHAM (West Houston Assistance Ministries), Generation One, Star of Hope, Casa Juan Diego, and Angela’s House among many others. As part of its commitment to promoting STEM education, PSI sponsors the Bellville ISD trip to the Houston Museum of Natural Science for 4th and 5th graders. He also teaches and speaks on log interpretation and best practices in the O&G business. He received a Geology Degree from Emory University in 1980.  Bill has served on the school board for St. Thomas More Parish School in Houston, volunteered as a coach for both soccer and basketball teams at the school, and has been a Junior High Science Fair Judge for 8 years. He was a trained adult leader of Boy Scouts of America for nearly 2 decades. Nearing retirement, he is transitioning his career into new areas of furniture making and non-profit volunteering.
