He guides and prepares clients for large, cross-border matters involving data mining, analytics-drive document review, and other related data-centric issues. A licensed attorney with a background in accounting and finance, Tarek works closely with counsel, corporate clients, and financial advisors to quickly and efficiently tackle complex electronic data problems in global litigation, financial investigations, regulatory inquiries, and restructuring matters. Tarek is known for developing and executing effective and straightforward solutions that bring clarity and consistency to cross-border and local matters alike. Prior to working at AlixPartners, he was a consultant at Huron Consulting Group and an Associate at Ernst & Young. Tarek received his BBA in Accounting and his M.S. in Finance from Mays and received his J.D. from the George Washington University Law School where he was a Presidential Scholar. He is an active member of the State Bar of Texas and the US Supreme Court Bar, as well as a member of the ABA.
