Christ’s Presence in the Eucharist

In the Eucharistic discourse, in John’s Gospel, Jesus called upon us to eat his body and drink his blood: For his body is real food indeed, and his blood is real drink indeed. In response, each of us can pray, “Lord increase my faith. I want to be a Eucharistic soul, and, with your help, I want to go out and try to be a saint.” A meditation by Father Timothy Uhen.

Like other forms of meditation, Christian meditation starts with mindfulness. Unlike them, it is essentially a dialogue with the "Love that moves the sun and the other stars" (Dante), and leads to a deeper friendship with Jesus Christ. In these recordings, Opus Dei priests reflect and pray out loud to stir hearts to this dialogue. A new meditation is released each week.
