Marcos Balter: III. Failure Is An Option
During and after his doctoral work at at Northwestern, Marcos fell in with a crowd of talented musicians hell-bent on creating a new standard for new music in Chicago. Marcos came-of-age with groups like ICE and Dal Niente, and together they created a real community, presenting new music to new audiences with an almost evangelistic zeal.
