Trees, terrain, weather, equipment, you name it. Any combination of these can conspire to put the logger in harm’s way. There is some new evidence that these traditional hazards might not be the only things killing loggers today and the results of these new studies may surprise you.  On today’s episode I have Erika Scott, PhD, Deputy Director at the New York Center for Agricultural Medicine and Health (NYCAMH) and the Northeast Center for Occupational Health and Safety in Agriculture, Forestry, and Fishing to discuss a new study on logging hazards in Maine and some of the surprising results.
