Matt was self-made multi-millionaire by his early 20s, having successfully transformed a suffering family business into a profitable one and in launching his own chain of lap dancing clubs, ‘Wildcats’. Between 2003 and 2008, Matt poured money into his business ventures and each year his group made millions in profit, topping £3m in its best year. In 2008, things took a turn for the worse and Matt was declared bankrupt and disqualified from being a director, following the financial crash of 2008. Now 39, Matt has bounced back to rebuild his empire, and is passionate about helping the next generation of entrepreneurs take the plunge, get started in business, follow their dreams, and ultimately learn from his mistakes. During this episode, Matt provides an honest insight into his journey, whilst providing top tips for aspiring entrepreneurs working hard to build a business through this challenging time.
